By changing the body design, the TKI3 can adapt to a wider range of track layouts, from technical circuits with tight corners to high-speed courses typically found in Europe. Adjustable wing height also expands the range of aerodynamic settings. Thicker gauge wire in new suspension springs was introduced for the World Championships for tighter cornering control. In addition, a review of the drive system incorporated a smaller center differential with revised gear ratio and a lighter spur gear plus 3-piece clutch to improve throttle response. The MP10 TKI3 is now more capable and more adaptable to different types of course layouts, not only for high-level competition, but also just for the fun of driving very fast.
