Mugen set out to increase corner speed with it's new front end. The rear was designed to create more traction and smoother action through bumps and jumps with shorter rear arms and fully adjustable anti-squat and toe-in bushings. New front shocks and springs control the suspension on the front while newly designed shock angles keep the rear hooked up.
The drive-train was lightened with milled out spur and ring gears for less rotating mass. Specialized brake cam, disc, and linkage set was redesigned for smoother stops. A clunk fuel pickup was installed in the new tank for maximum fuel pickup. The new features just keep on going.
